Free Crochet Kirby Plushie Pattern



Kirby has always been one of the cutest characters of my time. And there’s no surprise that he would come out adorable in plushie form! This is a Kristal Crochet original pattern. Materials                                                                    

- Bernat Velvet Yarn in Orange Whip
- Bernat Velvet Yarn in Peach Blossom
- N and H crochet hooks
- Darning Needle
- Red Felt
- White Felt
- Black Felt
- Blue Felt
- Fabric Glue

Abbreviations                                                           

SLST - slip stitch

CH - chain

SC - single crochet

DC - double crochet

Inv dec - invisible decrease 

Rnd - round

🛑 Disclaimer the difference between an invisible decrease and single crochet two together is, an invisible decrease is worked in the back loop only.

Body                                                                            

In Orange Whip
Rnd 1: 6 SC in magic circle [6]

Rnd 2: 2 SC in each SC around [12]

Rnd 3: *2 SC, SC in next SC*, repeat 6 times [18]

Rnd 4: *2 SC, SC in next 2 SC*, repeat 6 times [24]

Rnd 5: *2 SC, SC in next 3 SC*, repeat 6 times [30]

Rnd 6-11: SC in each SC around

Rnd 12-14: SC in each SC around

Rnd 15: *Inv dec, SC in next 3 SC*, repeat 6 times [24]

Rnd 16: *Inv dec, SC in next 2 SC*, repeat 6 times [18]

Begin stuffing the body.

Rnd 17: *Inv dec, SC in next 1 SC*, repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 18: Inv dec all around [6]

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Feet                                                                            

In Peach Blossom

Rnd 1: 6 SC in magic circle [6]

Rnd 2: *2 SC, SC in next SC*, repeat 6 times [9]

Rnd 3: *2 SC, SC in next 2 SC*, repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 4-7: SC in each SC around [12] (or count to 48)

Rnd 8: *dec, SC in next 2 SC*, repeat 6 times [9]

Rnd 9: *dec, SC in next 1 SC*, repeat 6 times [6]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Arms                                                                          

In Orange Whip
Rnd 1: 5 SC in magic circle [5]

Rnd 2: 2 SC in each SC around [10]

Rnd 3-4: SC in each SC around [10]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing

Assembly                                                                

Sew everything together 

Cut out pieces of felt for the mouth, eyes and cheeks

Glue felt pieces on

Crochet Reversible Halloween Circle Skirt

I thought this was such a cute idea! But I didn’t want to wear the spiders year round so I made it both reversible and the spiders removable. Seems like a lot I know. But if I wanted it more textured with the seams showing I wanted that option without the spiders! If you don’t want it reversible it would be super easy to add in a zipper. All you would have to do is before you single crochet the last panels together, you would have to sew the zipper to both sides and single crochet the rest of the way up from the bottom.
